Welcome to ShipdeHop, your peer-to-peer delivery platform connecting travelers and shippers to create a seamless, efficient, and community-driven delivery experience. By accessing or using the ShipdeHop app, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (T&C). Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions

“App” refers to the ShipdeHop mobile application.

“User” refers to any individual who registers as a traveler or shipper on the app.

“Shipper” refers to a user who sends a package through the app.

“Traveler” refers to a user who agrees to transport the shipper’s package.
-
“Service” refers to the platform provided by ShipdeHop to connect shippers and travelers.
2. User Eligibility

All users must complete an eKYC verification process, including Aadhaar and mobile number authentication.

Users must be 18 years or older to use the app.

By registering, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and current.
3. Usage of the Platform

ShipdeHop acts solely as a platform to connect shippers and travelers. We do not take responsibility for the package’s safety or condition unless explicitly stated.

Users must adhere to local laws and avoid using the platform for any illegal activities, including but not limited to transporting banned or restricted items.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited for shipping or travel:

Flammable materials (e.g., fireworks, explosives)

Narcotics and illegal drugs
-
Unlicensed or licensed firearms and ammunition

Sharp weapons and dangerous tools
-
Counterfeit goods or forged documents
-
Hazardous chemicals or radioactive materials
-
Live animals or wildlife products
-
Currency exceeding legal limits
-
Any item restricted under local or national laws
Violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension of your account and potential legal action.
5. Responsibilities
5.1 For Shippers

Ensure that the package adheres to ShipdeHop’s policies and is properly packed.

Declare the package contents accurately and truthfully.

Promptly inform ShipdeHop in case of a discrepancy or misuse.
5.2 For Travelers

Only accept packages after verifying the declared contents with the shipper.

Ensure the package is handled safely and delivered to the intended recipient.

Comply with all legal regulations during transit.
6. Liability

ShipdeHop is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay of packages.

Travelers and shippers are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and legality of the transaction.

Any misuse of the app for illegal activities will result in account suspension and reporting to law enforcement agencies.
7. Payment Terms

Payment for services rendered is handled directly between shippers and travelers.
-
ShipdeHop may charge a service fee or subscription fee to maintain the platform.

Users must ensure that payments are made through authorized and legal methods.
8. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute between a shipper and traveler, ShipdeHop will act as a mediator but does not guarantee resolution.

Users must report disputes within 48 hours of the issue.
9. Termination of Account
ShipdeHop reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account for:

Violation of the terms and conditions

Providing false or misleading information

Engaging in illegal or unethical practices
In case of illegal usage or scamming people, if caught, you will be penalized with ₹10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs INR).
10. Privacy and Data Use

All eKYC and user data are securely stored and will not be sold to third parties.

In case of illegal activity, relevant data may be shared with government authorities.

11. Updates to Terms and Conditions
ShipdeHop reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or app notifications. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
